Who we are

What data we process

Your account

For your account we store your email address, your display name, and your language preference. Sign-in works via an email code. We store no password.

Cookies & sign-in

We use only technically necessary cookies: your sign-in session and your language preference. There are no analytics, marketing, or third-party cookies, which is also why there is no cookie banner.

Your content

Lilo Page is a public website: posts, notes, badges, and links you publish are visible to everyone. That is the point of the service. Public content is also available via feeds (RSS). You decide what you publish, and you can edit or delete your content at any time.

Communities (Lilo Platform)

If you are a member of a community (e.g. your school or company), we store your membership and group assignment, and your public posts additionally appear in that community's overview on the Lilo Platform.

Endorsements

When you request an endorsement for a badge, you enter the invited person's name and email address. We use these solely to send them a single invitation email on your behalf. If the person endorses your badge, their name, role, the link they provide, and their statement are displayed publicly on the badge page. They are told so before submitting.

Reports

Anyone reporting a badge may optionally provide a name and email address. We use these only for follow-up questions about the report.

Contact form

If you write to us via the contact form, we use your name, email address, and message solely to reply to you.

Technical data

Visiting the site produces technical access data (e.g. IP address) that our hosting providers process to deliver and secure the service. We use no analytics or advertising cookies and do no tracking.

You received an endorsement invitation?

Your email address was entered by the person asking you for an endorsement, not collected by us. You receive exactly one invitation email, no marketing. Your options:

• Endorse: your name, role, and statement are displayed publicly on the badge page. You can withdraw your endorsement at any time via the badge page. It is then deleted entirely.
• Decline: via the invitation link you can decline the invitation. Your name and email address are deleted immediately.
• Do nothing: the invitation expires after 30 days and your data is deleted automatically.

How long we keep data

• Open endorsement invitations: 30 days, then automatic deletion.
• Published endorsements: until withdrawn or deleted by the badge owner.
• Account data and content: as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your content and account data are deleted.

Where your data is processed

We run Lilo Page with the following providers: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and file storage), and SendGrid (email delivery). Data may be processed outside Switzerland, in particular in the EU and the USA.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, and its correction or deletion, at any time. Write to info@lilo.page.

Changes

We update this policy when the service changes. The version published here applies.
